Terms of Use

These are the Terms of Use for the Fluentish app and fluentish.co, including the auto-renewing subscription terms for Fluentish Plus ($7.99/month or $39.99/year, with a 7-day free trial on the annual plan).

Effective date: 29 July 2026

These terms govern your use of the Fluentish app and fluentish.co. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.

1. Who these terms are with

Fluentish is built and operated by Yuval Fatal, a sole trader. "We", "us" and "our" mean Yuval Fatal; "you" means the person using Fluentish. This agreement is between the two of you. Written questions reach us at [email protected].

2. The service

Fluentish is a language-learning app delivered as a continuously adapting feed of exercises. We may change, add, or remove features over time; if a change materially reduces what a paid subscription includes, we will tell you before your next renewal. How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy.

3. Your account

You need an account to use Fluentish. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself, and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised. You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age in your country) to create an account. You can delete your account at any time. See fluentish.co/delete-account.

4. Fluentish Plus: auto-renewing subscription

Fluentish Plus is an optional auto-renewing subscription:

• Plans and prices: $7.99 USD per month, or $39.99 USD per year. Prices in other currencies are set by Apple and Google and shown before you buy.
• Free trial: the annual plan includes a 7-day free trial. The monthly plan has no trial. If you cancel during the trial you are not charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• What Plus includes: all 10 levels, typing and speech cards, dictionary export (CSV and Anki), and one streak repair per month.
• Billing: payment is charged to your Apple or Google account at confirmation of purchase (or when the trial ends). We never see or store your payment details.
• Renewal: the subscription renews automatically at the same price and period length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Cancelling: manage and cancel in your store account settings (on iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android: Play Store → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions). Deleting the app or your Fluentish account does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds: purchases are processed by Apple and Google, and refunds are handled under their policies. We will help you find the right request form: email [email protected].

The free plan is not a trial: unlimited scrolling at your available levels stays free regardless of whether you ever subscribe.

5. Apple standard EULA supplement

If you downloaded Fluentish from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where these Terms conflict with it on App Store matters, the Apple EULA controls for that conflict. Apple is not responsible for the app or for providing support for it.

6. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the service, interfere with other users, or use Fluentish for anything unlawful. We may suspend or terminate accounts that do.

7. Content and intellectual property

The Fluentish name, app, and all exercise content are ours or licensed to us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for learning. Your dictionary exports are yours to keep and use.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Fluentish is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or any particular learning outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Termination

You can stop using Fluentish and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms; if we terminate a paid subscription without cause, you will be refunded pro rata via the store you purchased through.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms materially, we will update the effective date and notify you in the app before the changes apply. Continued use after that notice means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without affecting any consumer protections that apply where you live. Questions: [email protected].
